Front-Country Campsites
These camping areas are all accessible by car, with less than 1 km to walk in order to reach the campsites. For most of them, there are many possible places to camp, so you can scout around to find the place that most suits you. In each location, however, we have listed specific campsites that we feel are suitable for most people.
At all of these locations, please practice Leave No Trace, and take away everything that you bring in. Some of them have a horrendous amount of trash from careless campers that have come before. Take some of their trash with you as well.
A family friendly scenic area with a beautiful lake, hiking trails, facilities such as picnic tables and indoor bathrooms, shao-kao grills for rent, and nearly unlimited wide open grassy areas for camping.

A beautiful scenic area centered around a semi-preserved wetland. Called "Little Guilin", the area is dotted with beautiful karst peaks, some of which you can summit. Camping sites abound on the Eastern and Western sides of the wetlands.

A spectacular undeveloped cave near the Jiuxiang tourist caves. There are a couple different caves, a river running through them, and flat areas for camping inside.
